After 20th, because of the rapid development of technology, our lives and information date are closely related. Data is not only a means of recording, but also it is a voice can be expressed. From our Monday morning moans to our selfies, our journeys to our genes, more and more of our live is being recorded as data. Combining this shows patterns which reveal things no-one could see before. This new way of looking at our lives is changing the world around us. There is more data about more things, moving faster than ever before. This is the invisible revolution of “big data”.For example, streaming habits reveal our guilty pleasures, social media profiles reveal our personalities, DNA reveals why we become ill, phone calls show where we are, and our energy meters know when we are at home. So data can communicate more things as your like.
In the science museum I find out an area there are a lot of people to queue. This is a machine can capture your face data to analyze whether you are happy. The most of people stand in front of this machine, this is a machine you can test your age, whether you are happy, the most of people stand in front of the machine are smile, maybe people were not very happy, but standing in front of the machine are always laughing, this is a interesting thing. And at the end there will be a statistic, which shows that the younger the more happy ,the older people become increasingly unhappy. This exhibition shows that we can touch the data, we can see the data. We livein data.
